Golden Hour Psychology is an online psychology service, easily accessible right from your digital device! Your session will be online and delivered securely and confidentially via Zoom.

An individual session costs $220. Sessions are 50 minutes.
A low cost fee of $160 is available to people who hold Low Income Health Care Cards.
Medicare provides a rebate of $93.35 per session, which you are entitled to for 10 sessions per calendar year.

If you would like to claim the Medicare rebate for each session, than yes, you will need to get a referral from your GP and get a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP).
If you are happy to pay the full fee, you will not need a referral.

No, you don’t need to have a formal diagnosis to start psychological therapy.

A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Please be mindful that by giving notice, this allows for the appointment to become available to someone else who might benefit from an earlier appointment.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment:
● Prior to 48 hours’ notice then no fee is payable.
● Between 25 hours and 48 hours’ notice then 50% service fee is payable.
● Less than 24 hours’ notice then 100% service fee is payable.

As an online business, all payments are done automatically and you will be charged during the session.

Unfortunately, Golden Hour Psychology does not offer bulk billing. A low cost fee may be applicable, so please reach out to discuss the option.

Being a private psychology service, we cannot offer crisis support. There are crisis services available if you need more urgent help.
